Q4 2020 US Performance of Top Android Dog Games

As the fourth quarter of 2020 wrapped up, the US Android market saw varying performances among the top dog-themed gaming apps. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the download trends and user engagement for these canine-centric titles.

Puppy Town - Merge & Win experienced a decrease in both downloads and weekly active users (WAUs) throughout the quarter, starting with 98K downloads and 287K WAUs in the last week of September, and ending with 30K downloads and 144K WAUs by the final week of December.

TutoTOONS's Kiki & Fifi Pet Friends showed an uptick in revenue from $14 to $54, downloads rising from 18K to almost 30K, and an increase in WAUs from 23K to 35K during the quarter, indicating a strong end-of-year performance.

My Talking Hank by Outfit7 Limited demonstrated a significant boost in revenue, especially in the latter part of the quarter, jumping from $270 to $459. Downloads saw a peak of 19K in mid-December, and WAUs increased from 47K to 53K towards the end of the quarter.

XiHe Digital's Miga Town: My Pets also saw growth in revenue, from $347 to $275, although downloads and WAUs both showed a downward trend, with downloads decreasing from 17K to 8K and WAUs dropping from 28K to 24K by the end of December.

Lastly, Police Dog Chase Crime City from play.io, saw fluctuations in revenue, ending the quarter at $595, up from $2233 at the beginning. The game's downloads decreased from 13K to 6K, and WAUs saw a decline from 8K to 4K in the same period.
